However, the doctor may suggest more than just free advice over the phone if they need to diagnose and treat certain conditions and electronically prescribe schedule medications. This is an additional paid-for service that is deemed as a virtual telehealth consultation and therefore charged at R278 per consultation, payable by the member from your available Scheme benefits or savings.
